From the North and East
From Exeter take the A38 for Plymouth. Take the exit after South Brent, A3121 signed Ermington and Modbury. Less than a mile after Ermington turn left for Modbury, signed Modbury and Kingsbridge, on the A379. Follow the road through Modbury and about a mile and a half further, on the crest of the hill, turn right on the B3392, signed Bigbury and Burgh Island. Follow the B3392 to the hamlet of St. Anne’s Chapel, turn right at the cross roads by the Old Chapel Inn, signed Ringmore.
Follow the road into Ringmore, turning right immediately before the church and churchyard and take the lane up the hill for around 400 yards. ‘Old Castle’ is the fourth drive entrance on the left, marked by two large stone pillars.
From the West
Take the A38 from Plymouth and exit at Ivybridge. At the first roundabout turn right (cross back over the A38) and turn left for Ermington. At Ermington turn right on the A3121 for less than a mile before turning left on the A379, signed Modbury and Kingsbridge. Then follow the instructions as above.
